Day 1Arrival to Rome Airport

ROME – A heady mix of haunting ruins, awe-inspiring art and vibrant street life, Italy’s hot-blooded capital is one of the world’s most romantic and inspiring cities.

Day 3Rome - Florence

FLORENCE – Cradle of the Renaissance, romantic, enchanting and utterly irresistible, Florence (Firenze) is a place to feast on world-class art and gourmet Tuscan cuisine.

Day 4Florence - Pisa - Verona

PISA – The world-famous Leaning Tower is just one of many noteworthy sights in this compelling city. Education has fuelled the local economy since the 1400s, and students from across Italy compete for places in its elite university.

Day 5Verona - Venice

VERONA – Best known for its Shakespeare associations, Verona attracts a multinational gaggle of tourists to its pretty piazzas and knot of lanes, most in search of Romeo, Juliet and all that.

Day 6Venice - Trieste

TRIESTE – as travel writer Jan Morris once wrote, offers no unforgettable landmark, no universally familiar melody, no unmistakable cuisine’, yet it’s a city that enchants, its ‘prickly grace’ inspiring a cult-like roll-call of writers, exiles and misfits.

Day 7Trieste - Piran - Lipica Stud Farm

PIRAN – One of the loveliest towns anywhere along the Adriatic coast, picturesque Piran (Pirano in Italian) sits prettily at the tip of a narrow peninsula. Its Old Town – one of the best-preserved historical towns anywhere in the Mediterranean – is a gem of Venetian Gothic architecture, but it can be a mob scene at the height of summer.

LIPICA STUD FARM – The stud farm can be visited on very popular, 50-minute guided tours. The interesting, informative tours are available in a number of languages; a tour covers the farm’s unique heritage and the breeding of the horses, and visits the pastures and stables.

Day 8Postojna Cave - Ljubljana

POSTOJNA CAVE – The jaw-dropping cave system, a series of caverns, halls and passages some 24 km long and two million years old, was hollowed out by the Pivka River, which enters a subterranean tunnel near the cave’s entrance.

Day 9Lake Bled & surroundings

LAKE BLED – Bled ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. Its natural beauty, healing climate and thermal lake water attract artists, businessmen, explorers, athletes, sport enthusiasts. Day 10Zagreb

ZAGREB – Zagreb is Croatia’s capital city known for its young, playful heart and alomost thousand year-old histiory of its old town which is true feast for your senses – most renowned restaurants and coffee shops in the middle of lush gardens and striking Neo-Gotic buildings. The locals are used to welcoming visitors with traditional Croatian hospitality.

Day 11Plitvice Lakes National Park

PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK – This natural gem was proclaimed Croatia’s first National park in April 1949. With its beauty, this area has always attracted nature lovers. Since 26th of October 1979 Plitvice Lakes is proudly on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
